When I Was Eleven I Was Permitted To Go Alone =0 So I Chose To Be A Witch/Vampire (Weird Now That I Think Back On It)
At Twelve I Went To My First Halloween Party And Went As A Witch {Decked Out In Make Up And A Broom}
At Thirteen I Helped My Sister With My 2Year Old Nephew {Bat} && 1Year Old Niece {Cat} So Me And Her Just Stopped By The Drug Store And Bought Wigs Hers Was Electric Pink Mine Neon Blue lol
And Finally At Fourteen I Decided I Was Too Old And Gave It Up =[

So I Tuned Into Oprah Today And What Do I See?? Her And Chris Rock Talking About "Good Hair" Not Just Black Women And Their Weaves And Perms But White Women With Their Dye Blond Hair.

I Personally Feel Like It's A Good Topic To Touch On It Deff Effects A Lot Of People. What Really Shocked Me Though Is When They Spoke About A PreK Aged Girl Who Didn't Like Her Hair Because It Didn't "Go Down" Like All The Other Kids In Her Class. That To Me Is Way To Young For Any Girl To Be Unhappy With Her Self Image WoW.

At The Same Time The Grown Women Where Off The Hook Too ,Now I Didn't See The Whole Show But A White Woman Said She Felt More "Striking" As A Blonde Than As An Auburn *WTF* But Chris And Oprah Made A Good Point, How Could She Feel More Striking When She Looks Like Everyone Else??? Solange Knowles Was On There Talking About Why She Cut Her Hair And She Said She Got Her First Perm At Age 4 =0 Now Thats Crazy. She Also Spoke On How She Would Never Feel As Pretty In Between Weaves And Thats Why She Cut Her Hair To "Free Herself" From Those Feelings.

Another Shocking Story Was About Women And Girls In India Who Cut Their Hair BALD As Part Of A Religious Ceremony Honoring Their Gods. The Hair Is Cut At Their Place Of Worship But The Church Then Sells Their Hair To The Weave Industry WOW WOW WOW. Those Women Don't Even Know The Worth Of Their Hair Or Whats Being Done To It After Its Shaved Off. I Wonder If They Knew Would It Change Their Views On It?

I Myself Have Been Getting Relaxers Since I Was About 7 or 8 And I Have Had A Few Weaves And Fake Pony Tails But The Only Time I've Done It For The Looks Was For My Graduation Pictures And My Prom. I Perm My Hair Not Because Of Looks But Because Its SOOOO Much More Easier To Handel, Especially For Me Because I Have A Hard Time Doing/Styling My Hair, Like Just Flat Ironing My Hair Is A Hassle For Me To Do On My Own. I Will Say I Do Have Issues With Short Hair I Hate To See Myself With Short Hair To Me It Makes My Head Look Fatter/Rounder Than It Already Is. Other Than That I Like My Relaxers So That I Can Easily Style My Hair Which For The Most Part Is In A Pony Tail.
